Music Ministries
Music is an active and exciting part of the life of First Methodist Church and there is a place for you! These small groups offer fellowship and friendships while creating music for the glory of God. We have offerings for all ages and welcome you to contribute to our worship.
Chancel Choir
Throughout the season (August – beg. of June), the Chancel Choir leads worship regularly at the 10:30am service. We welcome all levels and abilities. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm. If you enjoy singing, we encourage you to be a part of this group and contribute to worship.
Adult Choir
Through this choir, children aged Kindergarten-5th grade will learn about participating in worship, grow in their relationship with God, and develop friendships that can last a lifetime. This choir is part of Wednesday evenings Kid’s Zone and sings throughout the year in the 10:30am service.
children’s Choir
The Praise Team is made up of members of the congregation, playing a variety of instruments, who are inspired to add contemporary praise songs to the service. The band meets Sunday mornings at 8:45am to rehearse.

Alleluia Ringers
This Adult Handbell group rehearses Thursdays from 6:30-7:30pm and plays several times a year in the 10:30am worship service. It helps to read music, but is not a requirement. We can work with all levels of ability!
